About Links of Love
Linking families and bridging gaps in Putnam County
Links of Love is a nonprofit based in Putnam County, New York, dedicated to enriching the lives of children through community, creativity, and kindness. We believe every child deserves access to joyful, enriching experiences that help them discover who they are and who they can become. From art and music to storytelling, nature, and spiritual growth, our organization is designed to connect families to existing programs to nurture confidence, self-worth, and connection.
Connection through Community is Love
We collaborate with families, schools, and local businesses to build sustainable, inclusive support systems that benefit the whole community.
At the heart of Links of Love is a commitment to pay-it-forward impact — where those who receive are also invited to give back through time, talents, or kindness. Together, we’re building brighter futures, one meaningful link at a time.
Meet Geovanna Lacerra
Founder & Visionary, Links of Love
Geovanna Lacerra is the heart and founder behind Links of Love Inc., a nonprofit rooted in the belief that every child deserves joy, connection, and opportunity beyond the classroom. Inspired by the simple yet powerful question so many families ask, “Where can I go to connect with my kids and my community?” Geovanna created a space where children and families can grow, play, and belong.
With a background in emergency medical services, disaster relief, and years of working in people-first industries, Geovanna has always been drawn to service. Whether responding to natural disasters or calming a patient during a medical emergency, she discovered joy in turning moments of uncertainty into comfort and now brings that same heart to the world of youth enrichment.
A proud mom of two and lifelong advocate for kindness, inclusion, and preserving childhood wonder, Geovanna’s mission is simple: to give the next generation the tools to love themselves, each other, and the world they’re building. Through Links of Love, she’s turning her ‘WHYs’ into ‘WOWs’ and inviting the entire community to do the same.
